Dextrioth, Blood-Burned of Tathrax
CHARACTER BIO
According to the ancient traditions, Elven twins were brought to the shrines of Zenith and Ha’Sathan to be raised in the duality proscribed by the Accords. While his twin was raised in the embrace of the creator’s care, Dextrioth was forged in the fires of the destroyer. A swift student, he mastered the arts and quickly rose in the ranks. Upon the ascension of Ha’Sathan, he was thrilled with the opportunity to assert the dominance of destruction.
Receiving the Blood Sacrament however, became a curse. Dextrioth was driven to the brink of madness. His body became twisted into the form of a monster and in his anguish became a creature of destruction, unleashed where he could deal the most devastation. When Kerioth eventually became the Lord Akrithil of the Immortal Host, he delivered Dextrioth from this torment.
While unable to restore his former beauty, Dextrioth at least regained his sanity. To repay this debt, he became an instrument of Lord Akrithil’s will. Working from the shadows as an assassin and enforcer, he became a creature of nightmare, feared by Akrithil’s enemies. In time, he drew the attention of Inquisitor Kalth. United in their loyalty to Lord Akrithil, the pair became the primary means by which the terrible tyrant lord enforced his will within the ranks of the Immortal Host. Dextrioth serves his Lord’s will, even in his absence striking down his foes remorselessly as he awaits Akrithil’s eventual return and ascension to the Blood Throne.
